Clubs of Young Explorers (KMO) is a nationwide initiative that supports children, young people and adults in discovering the fascinating world of science through experiments and experiences. The KMO network is a community of teachers, animators, educators and enthusiasts who together create a space to develop creativity, teamwork and critical thinking.
What is KMO?
Each Young Explorer’s Club is a place where science meets fun and where young explorers have the opportunity to independently investigate and explain the phenomena around them. With the support of trainers and access to educational materials, participants develop their interests in various areas of science, natural sciences and technology.
Why join the KMO network?
- Support for club leaders: programmes, training and access to educational materials.
- Developing young talent: Enabling young people to develop their passions in creative ways.
- Social integration: Opportunities to network with other clubs and participate in national events.
Who can set up a KMO?
Anyone involved in the education of children and young people – whether a teacher, cultural animator or educator – can set up a Young Explorer’s Club. All you need to do is fill in the registration form and familiarise yourself with the network’s rules.
Mission and goals of the KMO network
KMO’s mission is to inspire young people to discover and develop their scientific interests, and to build a learning community open to collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing.
