Established in 2021 to strengthen Deloitte’s commitment to building a better and more sustainable world, in line with the company’s mission Making an impact that matters. The Foundation’s activities focus on three areas: education, climate, and charity, carried out in cooperation with strategic partners as well as through its own programs. Education plays a particularly important role in its initiatives—developing future skills, innovative thinking and socially responsible attitudes. The Foundation collaborates with the Copernicus Science Centre on educational activities aimed at YEC and AIDA audiences.
Bank Ochrony Ĺšrodowiska Foundation
The Bank Ochrony Ĺšrodowiska Foundation is a corporate foundation. Our mission is to prepare new generations to be better hosts of our planet. We offer educational and grant projects focused on climate change adaptation and energy transition. Our projects provides teachers and students with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and competencies, as well as initiate the process of adapting to climate change in their local communities.
United Nations Global Compact Network Poland (UNGC NP)
Cooperation in the years 2023-2025
United Nations Global Compact Network Poland (UNGC NP) is the national office and local point of contact and information for Polish members of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) – an initiative of the UN Secretary-General, bringing together businesses committed to sustainable development. UNGC is the largest initiative of its kind globally, encompassing over 160 countries and over 20,000 members. It gathers companies that collaborate with the United Nations and develop strategies and actions based on its policies, particularly focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals and the Ten Principles of the UNGC related to human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
The UN Global Compact Network Poland carries out its mission through activities in four overarching programs: Climate Positive, Business and Human Rights, Anti-Corruption, and United Business for Ukraine. It also coordinates cooperation with the Polish government, representatives of local government, and other UN agencies and programs operating in or concerning Poland, supporting the efforts of the UNGC headquarters towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The role of the Polish office also involves coordinating collaboration with those UN agencies and programs that do not have their headquarters in Poland, following the principles of the United Nations’ United to Reform strategy.
