Cel doświadczenia:
The purpose of the experiment is to use salt mass (properties of starch) to prepare plastic material used for creating three-dimensional pictures. This task develops creativity as well as manual skills. How to create remarkable pictures with 3D effect?
Spis materiałów:
- lukewarm water
- flour
- salt
- food colours
- small plastic or glass plates/bowls
- skewer sticks or similar
- microwave
Etapy realizacji:
- Prepare a glass of water, salt and flour. Mix the salt and flour and then add water. Depending on the number of colours that you wants to obtain or the number of pictures, you can increase the amounts of the ingredients.
- Divide the ready mass and put on separate plates or in bowls. For each portion, add a different colour and mix.
- Apply the mass onto a sheet of paper using a stick, small brush or another tool (discretion). Observe the structure of the paint.
- Place the picture in the microwave for approx. half a minute. Observe the structure of the paint.
